ADSL modem settings

To change a setting in your modem, you will need to open up your internet browser (eg. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) and type http://10.0.0.138/ into the address bar. This will open up the modem configuration page.

Below you will find some of the common settings that you may need to manually update within the modem.

Change Password
If you have had your password reset by one of our friendly staff to assist with a technical issue, you will need to update this within your modem by following the following steps:
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. Click the PPPoEDSL link under Broadband connection
  3. Type in the Username and Password and ensure the ‘Remember Password’ box is ticked. Please note that if you are currently connected to the internet you will need to press the ‘Disconnect’ button first
  4. Once you have updated the details, press the ‘Connect’ button
Please wait 30 seconds for the modem to reconnect to the server, and then try accessing a website to confirm that you are able to access the internet. 

Change Wi-Fi Channel
If you are experiencing slow speeds via Wi-Fi or experiencing Wi-Fi drop outs, the channel that your modem is broadcasting on could be congested. In this case, it is a good idea to try other channels, which can be updated by following these steps:
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. Click on ‘Wireless’ underneath the ‘Local Network’ section
  3. Click on ‘Configure the main WLAN’, which is listed under tasks at the bottom of the screen.
  4. On Channel Selection, select Manual and then select your desired channel. We recommend that you use channels 1, 6 or 11 for best results
Change Wi-Fi Password (Wi-Fi Key) / Network Name
If you’d like to change your Wi-Fi network name and / or password, you can do so in four simple steps.
When connected to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi:
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. Select 'Wireless' on the Main Page or under Local Network
  3. Select 'Configure main WLAN'
  4. Customise the Network Name in the SSID field and the Wireless Password in the WPA-PSK Encryption Key field then click 'Apply'.
Once changed, any devices that are currently connected, or were previously connected via Wi-Fi, will be removed from the network. To ensure you can continue to connect to your Wi-Fi, you will need to change the Network Name and Wi-Fi Key on all your Wi-Fi enabled devices such as your laptop, tablet, smartphone, PVRs and Smart TVs, save the new Network Name and reboot your modem.

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. When prompted for a username and password to login to your modem page, use the username and password located on the back of the modem
  3. Click on Wireless from the menu
  4. Customise the Wi-Fi network name in the SSID field and click Apply/Save
  5. Customise the Wi-Fi Password in the Security menu at the WPA/PAWI passphrase field then click Apply/Save.

Setup your Sagemcom F@ST 4315 modem after a reset to factory defaults
If you reset your modem to factory defaults, you will need to update the modem to connect to the internet again by following these steps:
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. When prompted for a username and password to login to your modem page, use the username and password located on the back of the modem
  3. Click Internet Connection from the menu
  4. Type in your Belong modem Username and Password and click Save/Apply.
Hint: your Belong username ends with @belong.com.au. If you’re unsure of your Belong username and password, go to the My Account page to retrieve them from the service details page. Click here to access My account.

Please wait 30 seconds for the modem to reconnect to the server, and then try accessing a website to confirm that you are able to access the internet.
