Changing Wi-Fi Network Name and Password

Your Belong modem comes with Wi-Fi capability allowing you to connect multiple devices to the internet at once, and is password secured.

If you’d like to change your Wi-Fi network name and / or password, you can do so in a few simple steps.
When connected to your home network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi:

If you have a Technicolor TG797n V3 modem
Hint: you’ll know you have a Technicolour modem if the casing on the back is white!
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. Select Wireless on the main page or under Local Network
  3. Select Configure the main WLAN
  4. Customise the Network Name in the SSID field and the Wireless Password in the WPA-PSK Encryption Key field then click Apply.
Once changed, any devices that are currently connected, or were previously connected, will be removed from the network and will need to connect again using the new details.


If you have a Sagemcom F@ST 4315 modem
Hint: you’ll know you have a Sagemcom modem if the casing on the back is black!
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to 10.0.0.138 in the address bar
  2. When prompted for a username and password to login to your modem page, enter the username and password located on the back of your modem (Note: these are case sensitive)
  3. Select Wireless on the main page
  4. Customise the Network Name in the SSID field and then click Apply
  5. To customise the Wireless password, select the Security menu and customise in the WPA/WAPI passphrase field then click Apply
Once changed, any devices that are currently connected, or were previously connected, will be removed from the network and will need to connect again using the new details.
