What are the Free Speed Boost Offer T&Cs?

 
These Terms and Conditions are to be read together with our Customer Terms.
 
  1. Offer is available from 28 October 2016 to 31 January 2017, unless otherwise determined by us (Offer Period).
  2. To be eligible for the 3 Month Free Speed Boost Offer you must take up an Eligible Speed Boost during the Offer Period and be:
  • A customer signing up to a Belong on the nbn™ service or
  • An existing customer on a Belong on the nbn™ service or
  • A Belong ADSL customer migrating to a Belong on the nbn™ service, and continue the service and Eligible Speed Boost throughout your Offer Period (Eligible Customer).
  1. As part of this 3 Month Free Speed Boost Offer, we will waive the monthly cost of your Eligible Speed Boost for the first three calendar months under our billing cycle during the Offer Period.
  2. An Eligible Speed Boost is:
  • For customers in Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) or Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) nbn™ technology ready for service areas, a speed boost offering speeds of up to 100/40mbps valued at $30 per month (100/40 Belong Speed Boost) or
  • For customers in Fibre to the Node (FTTN) or Fibre to the Basement (FTTB) nbn™ technology ready for service areas, a speed boost offering speeds of up to 25/5mbps valued at $10 per month (25/5 Belong Speed Boost).
  1. After your three month Offer Period expires, you'll become a paying Speed Boost customer, charged the relevant monthly fee, unless during the last calendar month of your Offer Period you downgrade the Speed Boost or your Belong on the nbn™ service by:
  • Managing your services on our website; or
  • By calling 1300 235 664.
  1. Once you’ve provided your proposed service address details, either online or via phone, we'll identify your relevant nbn™ technology type and corresponding eligible Speed Boost.
  2. We'll notify you by email within 30 days of the expiry of your Offer Period, to remind you that the Offer Period is expiring soon.
  3. If during your 3 Month Trial Period:
  • You move to an area that is not nbn™ ready for service or
  • You cancel your service or
  • Your service is suspended,  the 3 Month Trial Offer will be removed from your account and you'll no longer be eligible for the 3 Month Trial Offer.
  1. We may suspend your participation in this 3 Month Trial Offer upon notice if you seriously breach our Customer Terms.
  2. Actual speeds may be slower and will vary due to a number of factors including network technology, hardware and software configuration, source and type of content downloaded, the number of connected devices and the performance of interconnecting infrastructure not operated by Telstra.
  3. nbn™  is a trademark of nbn co limited and is used under licence.
  4. nbn™ is available in selected areas. Belong isn't available in all areas.
